The Brazilian Carnival IV – Don’t Listen To It, Feel It!

A-tug-tug-duh-A-tug-tug-duh. Vai! Tá-tá-tá. Balança uma perna. Ta-tá-tá. Deixa a outra perna seguir. Tá-tá. Contrabalança a cintura. Deixe as mãos sorrirem.
[ING] You look around. So many people with curious eyes and a beautiful smile. Many are there for the same purpose. Your heart enlarges, but you feel yourself small. In the first beat, the emotion is too strong to be contained. It is a major invasion sound in your ears. Do not rush, because everything starts very softly. A-tug-tug-duh-A-tug-tug-duh. Your lips are the first to reveal your feelings. The eyes follow the movement. You feel the time is now. The battle cry echoes in the distance. Go! Tat-tat-tat. Balance a leg. Tat-tat-tat. Leave the other leg forward. Tat-tat. Counterbalances the waist. You do not notice when it starts, but then realize that your whole body is in harmony with the rhythm. Tat-tat-tat. Let your hands smile. Tat-tat-tat. You’re dancing samba! And it’ll take has a little over an hour ahead. That’s it! Forget the pain, because you just feel the reverberation of the drums: tahhhhh… reaches your skin … like a wave. The evolution of the colors, the feeling of togetherness, the Commission of Front that choreographs the theme, the Car Opens The Wings which opens the way for passing the costumed revelers with samba in the foot and tongue, the first couple of mestre-sala (The master of the Room) and porta-bandeira who carries the flag of the school with dignity and charisma, the floats that inebriate with such beauty, the ‘Baianas’ that whirl as rhythmic pawns, the battery that should be felt as well as the beat of our hearts … Indeed, this is samba! Do you want feel like you are in the middle of the Bateria (a kind of orchestra of percussion instruments)? Put your headphones, increase the volume, close your eyes and feel it:

Beijinhos.
